His Mercies Never Come To An End

Living on the mercies of God each and every day.

Indeed, His mercies never come to an end.
They are new every morning, new every morning.

I can't imagine what will happen if God runs out of mercy.
I dare not imagine.

Then again, we can always look to the cross for comfort, for assurance. That His love and mercy will never fail or fade away.
Such amazing love. Such wonderous love.

.. His mercies never come to an end
They are new every morning, new every morning
Great is Thy faithfulness, O Lord
Great is Thy faithfulness

Take care!

Birthdays are a special thing.

It may remind us that we aren't getting any younger, yes it does, but aren't we thankful that it also reminds us how far God has sustained us and cared for us.

"Count your blessings" - we've always been told. But I'd like to say "count your 'sufferings' as well", as they may come in handy in shaping us to be who we'll be in the future.

You've survived 22 years, and will be going through your 23rd year on this planet from today onwards. In this continuing journey of yours, I hope that God will continue to be your Light and Guide.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IRWINDER KAUR (a.k.a. Gee Gee)

Happenings

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap
a harvest if we do not give up.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do
good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of
believers.

- Galations 6:9,10

Had a good and refreshing camp in Kuantan (Care 2 Care). More learning, less rest. Good reminders - an indication that there's a need for more things to be done.

Of course, we had some fun as well - making chewing gum posters, beach games, banana-pyjamas dance, 'SPOON', etc..

Convocations

Congrats to both Yennie and Hui Shi, who both graduated from UM on the 6th and 8th of September respectively..

I missed the throwing sessions for BOTH days though.. sigh.. then again, maybe it was better that way. Won't want to be responsible for accidentally killling someone 'cause of my failure to catch the person. Haha.

That's all for now..

Hoping for an, almost impossible, less-stress week. Hope yours ain't as bad.

Take care!

Pencil

5 Important Lessons to Learn from a Humble Pencil

  1. It tells you that everything you do will always leave a mark
  2. You can always amend the mistake you've made
  3. What is important is what is inside you and not outside you
  4. In life, you will undergo painful sharpenings which will make you better in whatever you do
  5. To live, you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the Hand that holds you, the mighty HAND of God
