Crossroads (2)

Crossroads Camp : 01-Aug-08 --> 03-Aug-08, PeaceHaven, Genting..

Camp has come to past..
But hopefully the memories and lessons would stay.

It was a good time of learning, fun, camwhoring, captainsal-ing and meeting new and familiar faces.. we also had talent-time again after such a long time...

People like Lukas, Mei Yee, Owen, and Kin Yan came back.

And it was good that Tabby.. I mean Tabitha, could join us before she leaves for a whole new adventure at the States.

Here are a few pictures to remember the camp by..

We know who has been cam- whoring..

Old friends catching up..

Learning new tribal languages..

Blessed with really good speakers such as Pst Tony and Michael William..

Aside from all the fun we had, hopefully we'll keep the lessons learned close to our hearts too..
Let us remember our calling as Malaysians, as a family of God, and as Christians.
Remember how does a salt looses its saltiness?

Let us not forget our calling as priests..

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light."
- 1 Peter 2:9

Haha..

-.-

Teacher : History is a very interesting subject. It tells you about what had happened in the past.
Student
: Please teacher, I don't think I want to study history.
Teacher
: Why?
Student
: There is no future in it.

.............................

Teacher : Ted, if your father has $10 and you ask him for $6, how much would your father still have?
Ted
: $10.
Teacher
: You don't know maths.
Ted
: You don't know my father!

.............................

Mother : David, come here.
David
: Yes, mum?
Mother
: You really disappoint me. Your results are getting worse.
David
: But I will only get my report book tomorrow.
Mother
: I know that. But I am going to Hong Kong tomorrow, so I am scolding you now.

.............................

Father : Why did you fail your mathematics test?
Son
: On Monday, teacher said 3+5=8
Father
: So?
Son
: On Tuesday, she said 4+4=8 And on Wednesday, she said 6+2=8. If she can't make up her mind, how do I know the right answer?

.............................

A mother and son were doing dishes while the father and daughter were watching TV in the living room. Suddenly, there was a loud crash of
breaking plates,
then complete silence. The daughter turned to look at her father.

Daughter
: It's mummy!
Father
: How do you know?
Daughter
: She didn't say anything.

.............................

Girl: Do you love me?
Boy: Yes Dear
Girl: Would you die for me?
Boy: No, mine is undying love

.............................

Man: How old is your father?
Boy: As old as me
Man: How can that be?
Boy: He became a father only when I was born

.............................

Waiter: I've stewed liver, boiled tongue and frog's leg.
Customer: Don't tell me your problems. Give me the menu card.

.............................

Teacher : Simon, your composition on "My Dog" is exactly the same as your brother's. Did u copy his?
Simon
: No, teacher, it's the same dog!

Random

Just some random thoughts flying in the air above my head right now..

- What was I thinking? - well, no regrets anyway...

- Will you call yourself a 'slave' when you're earning £120,000 a week?? - beats me.. that's like more than what I'll earn in 4 years with my current salary!!

- Massive jam because of 'public safety' - what a joke

- "The roadblocks proved to be “successful” although it caused inconvenience to many people" - bigger joke

EEFC Church Camp '08

Well, seems like everyone's been blogging about the most recent EEFC Church Camp that was held in Pine's Resort, Fraser's Hill..

Just a few words about camp before we proceed with the pictures (lots of pictures, mind you..)

Nothing much to say actually, except that it was a good and refreshing one. Great testimony from the speaker's side too, who still came despite the illness of their grandson.

Anyway, most pics here are from the Wongs (Hon Yau's camera). Enjoy viewing the pics..
